The following is the fee structure and suggested plan for Norman Financial Coaching clients. The ultimate goal of this relationship is to empower you to do what is best for you and your family. Whether this takes one session, or several, the goal is for you to take ownership of the process. Our work will focus on maximizing the greatest return on your investment, automate your processes, and minimize inefficiencies and missed opportunities. Ultimately, this is about your time, not your money. But we do have to discuss the money...
Year 1 Plan:
Session 1: Assess/Address Prospective clients will receive and complete as much of the Formative Assessment: Gathering the Data prior to meeting. Gaps in the data addressed, free online budget/net worth tool established , and proprietary Google Sheet with tabs for Assets/Liabilities, Cash Flow, Net Worth Projections, and Financial Independence timeline form your Action Plan: Phase I.
Session 2: As needed, Assess/Address 3-6 months after the first session. We will assess progress on Phase I Action Plan. Explore life-hacking, behavioral finance, and optimization techniques. Create Action Plan: Phase II.
Session 3: Audit/Address approximately 1 year after the first session. What’s working, what’s not. Begin bench-marking progress towards financial independence, and establish legacy goals in Phase III Action Plan.
Year 2+ Plan:
Session 4+: Continue benchmarking progress towards financial independence, re-evaluate legacy goals, continue financial fitness training, employ tax optimization strategies in Phases 4+ Action Plan(s).
What you can expect: Sessions last as long as needed. Follow up is expected between sessions, as I will email/share notes, thoughts, and resources for your consideration. Clients decide when or whether to meet again based on their needs. Several clients choose to meet only once! Most prefer to check in on major life changing events (e.g.child birth, college planning, job change, a major windfall/inheritance, or contemplating retirement and/or withdrawal strategies in retirement.
Payment: Each session is $450. For educators and clients with educator family member(s), the discounted fee is $350. Clients are encouraged to communicate with me between sessions as part of this one-time fee, and official coaching sessions can be requested beyond what is prescribed above. Sessions can be done in person, via Zoom, or by phone. Cash, checks made out to David Norman, or Venmo me @DavidNorman11. “How Much Does a Financial Advisor Cost in 2025?"
